Background and Objectives

Some month after perestroika UCI received a project in Ukraine. Main objectives were to train power plant management and members of the ministry of energy with regard to market oriented western economy. The training was provided especially for the staff of Kharkov (Charkiv) Energo in Kharkov and Smiov near the boarder to Russia.
